Donut Charts - Viewing small steps of progress using the donut charts

The level of experience donut chart shows the student’s progress across all the different levels of achievement on a particular level. If you add a second date, it will show the progress, however small,  between the two dates. You can also compare two pie charts to show the progress a student has shown over time.

To view the Level Status of a student

1. Navigate to the Student Assessment screen in Connecting Steps.
2. Select the required Group Type, Group, Student, Framework etc in the Selection panel.
3. Click the Level Status icon.

The level of experience for the selected student displays in a pie chart.

To compare the current level pie chart to an earlier one

1. Follow steps 1-3 above in To view the level status of a student.
2. Click the Side by side comparison icon and the comparison date window opens.
3. Select the required date.

Connecting Steps displays the pie charts side by side.

Note: If you do not see the Level Status icon, it could be that no baseline has been set for that subject/profile or that the student is not working on that framework.
