Why do students not appear in reports?

For a student to appear in a Connecting Steps report in Analytics, the following must be true:

1. The student must be on the select framework from the start of the report, to the end of the report
2. The student must be baselined before the start of the report.

If a student starts at the school or moves on to that framework after the report start date, by default, they won't be included.

If they haven't been baselined before the start of the report, by default, they won't be included.

If a student leaves the school or moves on to a different framework before the end of the report, by default, they won't be included.

You can include students not present for the entire date range

By clicking on the funnel icon at the top of the report and then ticking "Include students not present for the entire date range". The report will include students who were not in the school or were not on that framework at the start of the report and the student who have left the school or moved on to a different framework before the end of the report. For these students you will see "Not on Framework" or "Not in School" where this happens. The report will also include students who have not been baselined, these students will show as "No Data".

If tick the second tick box "Only students not present for entire date range", the report will then ONLY include the students who were not in the school or were not on that framework at the start of the report, the students who have left the school or moved on to a different framework before the end of the report and those without a baseline.
