One Page Profiles - creating, editing, updating and viewing
We know how important it is for everyone working with a child to really know that child - their strengths, what helps them to learn, and how best to support them. That’s why One Page Profiles have become such a powerful tool in schools.
One Page Profiles are now part of Evisense, so you can create, edit, update, and view your students' profiles in Evisense. You can also view these profiles within Connecting Steps.
To create a One Page Profile
- From the Home Screen in Evisense, Click Add New.
- Select One Page Profile from the list of post types.
- Select a template, then start to add text about your Student under the headings listed.
- Once text has been added in each section, click Next.
- Search for the Student you are creating the One Page Profile for, select the Student, then click Next.
- Choose your preferred Page Format from the list of options, then click Next.
- Click Publish. Your One Page Profile will appear as a post in Evisense, click on it for a full view. Then you can also click to Download a .pdf.
To edit a One Page Profile
A One Page Profile can be edited to correct any errors using the instructions below. But if you wish to update it to reflect changes about a Student, you should use the instructions under the next heading.
- Click the 3 Dots on your One Page Profile post in Evisense.
- Click Edit Post.
- Edit the content as required, then click Next.
- Click Next to confirm the Student and Page Format.
- Click Update to save the edits.
To create an updated One Page Profile
A One Page Profile should be kept up-to-date to reflect any changes in a Student's needs. Follow these instructions to update a One Page Profile.
- Click the 3 Dots on your One Page Profile post in Evisense.
- Click Create updated OPP.
- Update the contents of the One Page Profile, then click Next.
- Click Next to confirm the Student.
- Click Next to confirm the Page Format.
- Click Publish.
- A new post is created for the One Page Profile, featuring the updated content.
To view a One Page Profile in Connecting Steps
- In Connecting Steps, navigate to Assessments | Individual Assessments.
- Make selections for Group, Student, Framework, Subject, Profile, and Level to display a Student's achievements on the Individual Assessment screen.
- Click on the One Page Profile icon. The latest version of a Student's One Page Profile is displayed on screen. You can also click to download a .pdf version.
