Creating an extended post

When the text in a post exceeds the post limit, the first 300 characters appear in the preview, and the full content is attached as a downloadable .pdf.

This works for all post types and is especially useful for longer reports like ‘Therapist Notes’.

To create an extended post

  1. From the Home Screen in Evisense, Click Add New.
  2. Select your required post type from the list. For this example, we select Therapist Notes.
  3. Type your comments or copy and paste your report into the comments box, then click Next.
  4. Choose to add a link if required, then click Next.
  5. Select the Student to tag on the post, then click Next.
  6. Click to link to Assessment and Tags if required, then click Done.
  7. Click Publish.
  8. The notification explains that the text exceeds the post limit, so the first 300 characters will appear in the preview, with the full content attached as a downloadable .pdf. Click Continue.
  9. The post is published. To view the full content, click More.
  10. The full content of the post is displayed on screen, scroll down to continue reading. To download a .pdf, click Download.
