Student Progress report

This report shows the linear progress of a pupil across multiple subjects/profiles over a time period. It is a quick and simple visual overview of a pupil's linear progress and attainment. For pupils making progress in a linear fashion at a reasonable rate (so it shows on the report, not national expectations), it is a good report to share with parents. It will help parents to see how different subjects compare. You can see the pupil's stronger areas in terms of attainment, their weaker areas and where they are making the most and least progress. This report will be a starting point for pupils making smaller amounts of progress before discussing non‐linear progress or achievement/engagement progress.

This report, by default, is a bar chart and shows how the pupil's attainment across multiple subjects/profiles changes over two dates, showing the progress made. You can choose to add an additional date to show a midpoint and how the rate of progress may have increased or decreased over time.

The data can be represented as a comparative bar chart, in columns or as a line chart. You can filter based on subjects/profiles and sort the information.

In the column view, the green and red indicators are a good visual representation of change over time. They represent whether the pupil has progressed or regressed since the previous date. The dates used are the school's Key Dates as set in My BSquared. To learn about managing your Key Dates, please see https://support.bsquared.cloud/article/779-set-key-dates.
