Troubleshooting frameworks

Navigate to the Manage Students screen and click on the pencil icon in the Edit column next to your student. Follow the pictures below to identify the issue with your data.

If the Current Framework section displays simply (Default) without a framework name, it may be that your school's default frameworks have not been set. Click here for instructions to set up your default frameworks. If the default path has been set, it could also be that your student has not been assigned a framework because their age is outside the Start Age and End Age of all frameworks. Check that the student's DOB* is correct and edit if necessary. If the DOB is correct, you will need to edit the Start Age and/or End Age of your frameworks. Click here for instructions. |

If the student is assigned to the default framework, the Current Framework section will list the framework name and then (default) after it. If (default) does not appear, the student has been removed from the default framework. Click here to assign the student back to the default framework or assign the student to both frameworks. |

|
In the Edit Frameworks modal, the framework you would like to assign does not appear. This could be because the student's age falls outside of the Start Age and End Age of the framework. Check that the student's DOB* is correct and edit if necessary. If the DOB is correct, you will need to edit the Start Age and/or End Age of the framework. Click here for instructions. The other reason the framework may not appear is if it is an Additional Framework. These are assigned in a slightly different way. Additional Frameworks include: Alternative Provision - Autism Progress - Communication & Interaction - EAL-Bell Foundation - Executive Function - Maths for Life - Phonics for Pupils with SEN - Pre-Key Stage Standards - Preparing for Adulthood - Rebound Therapy - SEMH - Sounds of Intent - SQA National 1-5 Click here for instructions to assign an Additional Framework. |

If a student has been removed from all frameworks, you will see a button to Reactivate Default Framework next to the Current Framework. Use this button to assign the student back to their default framework. You can view a list of students that have been removed from all frameworks on the Assessment Files v5 screen.
