Viewing evidence from Evisense in Connecting Steps

Evisense is a powerful, easy-to-use tool for schools to store and showcase events from a child’s time with them. The app makes it simple to capture photos and videos, add comments, link to assessment content in Connecting Steps and share with parents.

In Connecting Steps, the camera icon on the top of the Student Assessment screen indicates how many posts are linked to the level you are viewing. Any linked assessment points also have a camera icon with a number to indicate linked evidence. Click on the camera icon on the individual assessment point to view the associated evidence. If a One Page Profile has been created for the student in Evisense, this can also be viewed in Connecting Steps on the Student Assessment screen.

Do you know about our FREE Evisense Explorer?

Our entry-level option, Explorer, is now included FREE for all students licensed in Connecting Steps. Explorer gives full access to Evisense’s simple, secure parental communication and evidence sharing platform, with one limitation, you cannot upload photos, videos or audio clips. If your school is using Evisense Explorer, you will be able to see where text-based evidence has been linked as above and view One Page Profiles.
