Why am I getting an Application Error message?

An Application Error occurs when the application tries to load outdated data that no longer matches the live server. To resolve this, you can clear your browser's cache and/or use an incognito window. Incognito windows are sometimes blocked by school networks.

To clear the cache on common browsers, follow these steps.

Google Chrome

  • Open Chrome and click the three dots in the top-right corner.
  • Select Delete browsing data.
  • Choose a time range like All time.
  • Check Cached images and files along with any other data you want to remove, then click Delete data.

Microsoft Edge

  • Open Edge and click the three dots in the top-right corner.
  • Go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services.
  • Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.
  • Select All time for the time range, check Cached images and files, and click Clear now.

Safari (iPad and iPhone)

  • Open the device Settings app.
  • Tap Apps, then select Safari.
  • Scroll down and tap Clear History and Website Data.

To access an incognito window in common browsers, follow these steps.

Google Chrome

  • Click the three vertical dots in the top-right corner.
  • Select New Incognito window from the menu.

Microsoft Edge

  • Click the three dots inn the top-right corner of the window.
