What to do when the storage quota is exceeded
Student Storage Quotas
If you receive the message "Warning: The following students have exceeded their storage quote, this post will be stored as a draft", then the listed student has either not been assigned a storage tier or they have exceeded their quota:
To check and rectify this you will need to contact one of the Evisense administrators at your setting.
You will still be able to create “draft” posts, they just will not appear “live” until more quota has been assigned to the student.
User Storage Quotas
If you receive the message "You do not have enough storage available for untagged file uploads" on the App or Website, then you have used up your “untagged” storage space. Each user has 512Mb storage they can use to store photos and videos before they use them in posts.
The App will keep your media in pending uploads, until your storage quota on untagged media has been reduced:
On the Website it will show you the following message to make you aware that the media upload has failed:
To resolve this you can either
- Create posts from your untagged media, the storage quota will then be allocated to a student
- Delete any untagged media you do not need: go to your gallery and select any media you don’t need -> click/tap on the delete icon
