How to activate free assessment frameworks for Connecting Steps
Alongside the content schools purchase, we have a range of content that is free for schools who use Connecting Steps. The below frameworks are for schools in England. These frameworks are free for all the pupils you currently have licensed in Connecting Steps.
An administrator for your setting can activate most of the free frameworks from the Assessment Files v5 screen in My BSquared. Scroll to the 'Available Structures' section at the bottom and use the '+' icon next to the framework you would like to use.

Activating some free content will reset your school's default frameworks. To check this, scroll up to your list of Frameworks on the Assessment Files v5 screen. Select the blue 'Set default frameworks for your school button' and reset your default framework path. Please see Setting age ranges for frameworks and Setting up your default frameworks for more information.
